1999/10/12 - Student assaulted in McCormick area

University police investigate the sexual assault of a female student at an off-Grounds party, reportedly by a male whom she knew. Claire Kaplan of the Women's Center comments that acquaintance rape accounts for most college rape cases, and that most rapes are not reported.
